We had a 4 day trip to the desert starting from Marrakesh, passing through the impressive Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, and Kasbahs. I had an amazing time on a recent tour of Morocco using Morocco Touring. My party had a 7 day tour and were able to create a customized trip through the company. We started in Casablanca and visited multiple Moroccan cities, including Rabat, Fes, Merzouga (including a night camping in the desert following a camel ride), Dades Gorge, and Marrakech. Our guide/driver, Kamal, did an incredible job showing us the wonderful sights of Morocco. He is very knowledgeable and personable and I hope to have him as a guide during future visits.
It was wonderful. David or Daoud ,as he is called, in Berber was an excellent driver and guide. He brought us from Marakech to the Atlas Mountains, to the Todra gorge and the Mergouza dessert and the Atlantic coast to the town of Essouaira. The trip was customized to our liking and the accommodations were very unique. We travelled on camels in the Mergouza dessert which was very exciting, stayed in a cave hotel another, a casbah another night.
